We primarily carry live edge slab wood. On hand, we have several thousand slabs to choose from.

We have an assortment of Kiln Dried, Air Dried, Seasoned, and Green slabs to choose from.

While this list is always changing, here are some of the wood species we carry.

Black Walnut, White Oak, Red Oak, Soft Maple, Honey Locust, Sycamore, Pecan, Claro Walnut(limited), Hackberry, Cherry(limited), Cypress(Rounds Only), Eastern Red Cedar, Pine, Douglas Fir, Elm

Our slabs are priced by the board foot and according to size, moisture, figure and character.

A Board Foot(bdft) is equal to One Square Foot of 1” thick material. So in essence, 1bdft = 1”(Thick)x12”(Width)x12”(Length). Get it? :) It’s okay if you’re new to this. We won’t make you feel terribly dumb for not understanding.

Okay, now that we all understand what a board foot is, we can discuss some pricing.

HARDWOOD SLAB PRICE RANGES:

• Green Slabs(Fresh Cut): $4-$8/bdft

• Seasoned Slabs(Still needs some drying): $6-$10/bdft

• Air Dried Slabs: $12-$30/bdft

• Kiln Dried Slabs: $15-$35/bdft

Why such a wide range you ask!?

Ahh.. Great question. There are other factors that go into pricing a slab. These factors include the quality of the wood, wood species, wood character, and one of the most important factors, the size of the slab.

Having said that, MOST of our dry hardwoods land around $15-$20/bdft and our green/seasoned wood lands around $9/bdft for single slab sales with heavy discounts for bulk purchases.

THICKNESS

The majority of our slabs are cut between 2.5”-3” thick. Once flattened and ready to use, they typically land around 1.5”-2.25” thick. Having said that, we can have your slab/slabs resawn if desired.

WIDTH

Our slabs vary greatly in width. The range is anywhere from 8”-60” wide allowing for a wide range of applications depending on what the build requires.

LENGTH

We have slabs as short as 36” and as long as 19ft. The majority of the hardwoods range between 60”-120” in length.

Currently, we have around 150 black walnut saw logs. These logs are available as is or cut into lumber/slabs at your request. Call for pricing. Logs are sold by the linear foot depending on diameter. Sawn logs are priced by the board foot starting at $5/bdft. We also have a small selection of Eastern Red Cedar Logs, Honey Locust, Elm, and Cottonwood available. Selections varies and you should call for availability on all logs.

Firewood duh! - KIDDDING. Don’t burn the wood unless you just really hate money. Then have at it I guess.

Here is what’s great about us. We don’t just sell slabs. In fact, it’s not even our primary function. While we are well versed in slabs/lumber/processing wood and the like, we are WOODWORKERS at our core. We are great at envisioning the possibilities for these slabs. Each slab of wood or piece of lumber for that matter tells a story and deserves to be used according to that story.
